How Does it Work?

Our treatment is based upon Controlled Micro Penetration (CMP) technology. The device is computer controlled and is completely safe, painless and quick.

It produces micro holes through the nail without touching the skin beneath. The holes allow the topical solution to reach the infection without the nail acts as a barrier. The holes are just 0.4mm in diameter.

Micro cutter penetrates nail, topical solution administered

What can you expect from the Clearanail Treatment Path?

First visit to Trekeek Foot Health: An initial assessment and diagnosis of Onychomycosis.

We will carry out nail debridement (gentle filing and cleaning) in order to prep your nail for the use of Clearanail.

It is likely that we will take photos at this stage so that you can see the progress throughout the next 16 weeks (or less if the treatment works faster than expected).

We will then drill the tiny holes using Clearanail. You should not feel any pain and when the holes are finished, and we will give you instructions on applying a topical solution and foot powder or sanitation for footwear.

Week 8: Review and photos taken to compare to your first visit.

Nail debridement and if there is still evidence of infection then your Practitioner may decide to produce more holes if required.

Week 16: Review with additional photos and end of treatment.
